I have devoted this week 19/04 - 24/04 to the extreme4x4adventure website. It seems that I have drifted away from the effort to produce a good layout for my designs and rather focused on the technical aspects of Flash. So, I decided to spend this week experimenting on layout, since that is what I'm good at, and not flash developing. All the developing will take its course once the layout is complete.

This is a live project of Web Design. In an effort to establish myself as a young Cypriot professional graphic/web designer, I have taken the task of designing two complete functional websites for two clients based in Cyprus, "Contact Advertising" and "Extreme 4x4 Adventure", the first an experienced and prominent advertising agency focusing on brand profile and promoting, and the latter a non-profit organisation of adventurous Land Rover owners, who enjoy climbing rocks with their jeeps.

I definetly think that you have got the colours right. I really like the combination of grey and orange, and as for the layout, its looking simple yet sophisticated and v smart so far. And yeah, don't worry about all the technical bits, the layout and presentation are more important and the two will blend together soon! Mary
A couple of thoughts on this so far, Alex:
1. Lanyard is a good idea, along with colour scheme. A big improvement on your last design!
2. The width is too much, when designing for 1024 wide, you need to take in to account the scroll bars and use, say, 990 pixels instead. On my 12" screen, the text cuts off forcing me to scroll horizontally.
3. Body text isn't that inviting to read... font is not hugely legible at this size and, for me, the lines are too long. Consider splitting this in to columns as opposed to paragraphs?
